choices
I got a quote today for having the reunion on a yacht in St. Claire Shores. Many people seemed interested in this but if you are not please speak up now because I want everyone to enjoy the reunion. The date would be Sat. July 11th from 630 to 11pm. It would be $85 a person as long as we have 250 people come. If there are more the cost would go down a little. If you wanted to stay later there is a nearby bar with an open patio that people could go to as well as multiple hotels in the area. What do you think?? I think the yacht idea sounds awesome.My vote for is for it.
*sighs* well I think everyone is up for this yacht thing so I suppose I'll go along for it. Only thing I'm worried about is I know of at least one person (will huff) who is no longer in the state who is against it due to his having to come here, pay the money for the reunion and a place to stay while he's here unless someone can help put him up for his time here. My other suggestions are also if there is a way to set up a car pool system perhaps so not as many people have to drive so far to get to the boat in the first place. I know there is a car pool parking lot about 5 minutes from where I live in Milford where we could oragnize people better and get a good head count of who is going and maybe even designate "drivers" for the night to make sure everyone is safe. What do you guys think?
I think the yacht idea is great... it would be nice to do something on a more grandeur level than just a banquet hall... how memorable would something like this be?!?!?!?!?! Even coming all the way out from Colorado... gives me a reason to visit the family I guess....
